Woollen Gym Flooring Plaque

Memories and Traditions, LLC of Raleigh, NC is proud and pleased to offer you an opportunity to own a piece of basketball history. These custom-framed, limited edition, unique flooring plaques are created from the original maple flooring (1937-2004) that served as the home court for the 1957 Men’s Basketball National Champions (32-0). UNC beat Kansas and Wilt Chamberlain, one of the greatest basketball players…ever, in a thrilling three overtime final game to win the Championship. A portion of the proceeds will go to help Habitat for Humanity of Wake County build a home for a worthy family.

On the back of your plaque you will find a Certificate of Authentication confirming that your plaque is a piece of the original maple flooring from Woollen Gym...the birthplace of the Carolina basketball legacy. Additionally, our unique numbering system indicates section, row and column, along with a picture of where your piece originated.
